Key Qualifications:
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with elementary and/or secondary students Comfortable collaborating with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledgeable in providing direct therapeutic interventions, adaptations, and classroom modifications Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt as needed for individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students under licensed OT supervision Implement IEP-accommodated interventions in both classroom and small group settings Accurately document student progress, session activities, and collaborate in team meetings Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, organization, and self-regulation skills Participate in ongoing training and professional development as part of your assignment
