Job Description
About us Olive Tree Occupational Therapy is a small center in Cathedral City, CA that provides outstanding pediatric and young adult movement and community groups. We are a client centered office that uses the latest research to address motor challenges, regulation and self-care skills to help our clients reach their goals. Mentorship and training available to help clients reach their maximum potential. New grads welcomed. Our work environment includes Training and Mentorship Part time hours No schools Position is for in clinic services and social recreation groups in our office
Responsibilities:
- Provide dignified-connection based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, balance, endurance, participation and regulation
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely with allotted documentation time
- Mentorship and training provided for applicants new to pediatric setting or new graduate.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of occupational health principles and practices or a passion for learning
- Proficiency in occupational therapy techniques or a passion for learning strength-base, life changing modalities
- Ability to run a community based sensory and skill program for various ages to include movement, arts and crafts and more.
- Able to supervise and lead supporting staff.
