Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, supporting elementary students in a school-based setting near Los Angeles, CA. In this vital role, you'll collaborate with educators and therapy teams to help children build essential skills for classroom and daily success—all while enjoying a balanced schedule and the chance to make a lasting impact.
Key Qualifications:
Current COTA license and certification required Prior experience in school or pediatric healthcare settings strongly preferred Comfort working with elementary-aged children and adapting activities to individual needs Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, students, and families Strong organizational and time management abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions per student treatment plans Support the lead occupational therapist in implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals Track and document student progress, reporting findings to supervising therapists Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies for classroom participation Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development as required Maintain a supportive, positive learning environment for all students
Position Details & Schedule:
