Our rehabilitation team works collaboratively to help individuals regain independence, improve functional skills, and enhance quality of life. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy department. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the OTA will assist in implementing therapeutic interventions designed to promote residents' functional abilities, independence, and overall well‑being. Responsibilities Carry out individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, functional mobility, strength, and coordination Document resident progress in accordance with center policies and regulatory requirements Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs Assist with training in the use of adaptive equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging therapy environment Qualifications Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of California Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient‑care skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits Starting rate: $52 per hour Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Retirement plan options Continuing education and professional development opportunities Supportive leadership and a positive team culture
