We offer a variety of therapies and care services to assist patients in regaining their independence, whether they are recovering from a hospital stay or require ongoing medical support. As a valued team member, you will collaborate with therapists, patients, their families and the IDT to guide each patient through a personalized therapy program, helping them reach their recovery goals. REQUIREMENTS
CPR Certification is mandatory. Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant is required. Preferably 1-2 years of experience in long-term care. Good physical and mental health is essential. Capable of meeting physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to follow both oral and written instructions. Possess training, knowledge, and experience for general duties under supervision.
REPORTING
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant reports to the supervising Occupational Therapist and/or Rehabilitation Director.
JOB DUTIES
Understanding of physical medicine, therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology. Familiarity with operating physical therapy equipment, maintenance, and repairs. Administering treatment and rehabilitation services to patients with injuries or disabilities. Following treatment plans directed by the Occupational Therapist. Monitoring and documenting patient treatment and progress. Assisting in developing educational plans based on learning needs. Ensuring documentation meets current standards and policies.
