Riverside, CA Pay Range:
$35-$38 per hour, DOE Are you passionate about helping seniors maintain independence and quality of life? Do you thrive in a collaborative, resident-centered care environment? Arlington Gardens Care Center in Riverside, California is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing care team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team committed to compassionate, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents in improving functional independence through individualized therapy plans Collaborate closely with the Occupational Therapist to implement effective and engaging treatment strategies Encourage participation in therapeutic activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being Accurately document treatment sessions and resident progress in accordance with regulatory standards Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications:
Active and valid California COTA license Passion for working with seniors in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual resident needs SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required Why Join Arlington Gardens Care Center?
