Qualifications:
Current and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other therapists Commitment to professional standards and ethical practices
Responsibilities:
Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized therapy programs for students Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEP goals Document session notes and progress reports accurately and timely Collaborate with teachers and school staff to identify strategies supporting student access to curriculum Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and contribute to student planning Provide adaptive equipment recommendations or environmental modifications as needed This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with a flexible schedule of 15 hours per week over three days.
