Required:

Valid, active California Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

Key responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations. Implement therapy interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living. Instruct patients and caregivers in use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment. Document treatments, progress, and changes in patient condition accurately and promptly. Follow safety and infection-control policies to maintain a safe therapy environment.
