COTA Full Job Description Position:
School Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the 26/27 school year in San Bernardino, CA.
Pay:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute individual treatment plans for students under the supervision of a licensed OTR supervisor. Regularly measure clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment, progression towards goals, and openly communicate your findings to your supervising OTR. Complete all necessary documentation Work with and develop strategies to overcome various behaviors. Collaborate with school staff to ensure the student's goals are being met Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of students (age, race, ethnicity, etc).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit our clients Be highly flexible and agile (we are living and working in a very dynamic time right now) Be highly collaborative, team-oriented and customer service driven Licensing/Credential and/or
Education Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or program. Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License from the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT) Current Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field of vision.
