We are housed within a beautiful 8,000 square foot, state of the art, pediatric center in Santa Monica, CA. Therapy Place 4 Kids provides Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapies to children 0-18 years of age. We strive to be on top of the latest research and utilize a variety of approaches to best meet the needs of each individual child and family. Our clinic prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration and a family-oriented environment in order to get the best results for our patients. TP4K is looking for highly motivated, independent, driven, organized, energetic, and creative therapists to provide high quality, individualized therapy. We are looking for therapists that are motivated to learn and interested to take their careers to a new level. We're looking to hire a licensed Occupational Therapist or a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work on Saturdays from approximately 8/9am-1/2pm . New graduates welcome. Create goal driven treatment plans that are developmentally and age appropriate. Complete developmental assessments in a play-based approach. Provide parent education and home programs related to treatment goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (OT, PT, Speech and other disciplines-- Ed therapy, MFT, Neuropsychology, Pediatrician, ABA Providers, etc.) on a daily basis. Communicate and collaborate between all disciplines. Ability to stay current with all documentation. Complete biannual progress reports utilizing standardized developmental assessment tools. Community liaison to help increase awareness of services offered, maintain community relations, and provide school-based interventions and suggestions. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and orderly clinic and maintains equipment and center as assigned. Participates in educational, research, and quality improvement projects. Current California Speech Therapy License Maintain professional proficiency in therapy by attending workshops, conferences and treatments given by other therapists. Attend meetings (e.g. team conferences) to discuss client's treatment programs and therapy concerns on an as needed basis. Participate in team discussions in an articulate, positive, and productive manner.Requirements:
