Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located near vibrant Santa Monica, this full-time, onsite role spans the 2026-2027 academic year and offers the chance to work collaboratively with dedicated professionals. You'll make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives by fostering independence, fine motor development, and access to academic tasks.
Key Qualifications:
Active COTA license in California Demonstrated school-based experience (elementary caseload experience preferred) Strong understanding of best practices for supporting elementary-aged children Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Comfortable working full-time, M-F, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and committed to the entire academic year (August 13, 2026 - June 9, 2027) Ability to participate in a virtual (Zoom) interview
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students in a dynamic school environment Support the implementation of IEP goals and document student progress thoroughly Collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success Modify classroom activities and adapt materials to enhance student participation Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Employ evidence-based interventions to develop fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Maintain accurate and timely therapy notes and documentation in accordance with school requirements Here, you'll join a welcoming school community committed to each student's growth and well-being.
