Monitor and communicate progress, observing resident responses and reporting changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist and care team. Maintain accurate documentation that meets clinical, quality assurance and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the care team to provide safe, consistent and compassionate resident care. Qualifications and Skills:
Current state COTA licensure and CPR certification. Minimum of one year of experience preferred. Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology and neurology. Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong teamwork, organization and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with residents, families and care team members. Compassion, patience and professionalism when working with older adults and individuals with complex care needs. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting and assisting residents with exercises and activities.
