Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by utilizing your skills as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for those who are passionate about facilitating student growth and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Valid state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Active certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) At least one year of recent experience, preferably within a school or pediatric setting Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Commitment to continuing education and maintaining professional development as required by state and district guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to help students reach their educational and developmental benchmarks Monitor student progress and effectively communicate with the supervising OT to adjust plans as needed Work in partnership with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments Maintain thorough and accurate records in adherence to all regulatory compliance standards Engage in ongoing professional development to incorporate the latest evidence-based practices What's in It for
