Qualifications & Skills:

Valid, active Florida COTA license is required Prior school-based experience strongly preferred Proven skills in delivering occupational therapy services to children and adolescents Adaptability and confidence in traveling to a variety of school locations Strong communication and collaboration abilities Reliable transportation for county-wide travel (site assignments are provided before the school year begins)

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, educational staff, and families to support each student's development Document evaluations, progress notes, and reports accurately Assist with the development and execution of student-centered treatment plans Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in school-based meetings as needed Flexibly manage a caseload and travel between multiple school sites as assigned Imagine helping students build critical life skills while working in a supportive educational setting.
