Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Lakes of Clermont is dedicated to providing high-quality, in-house rehabilitation services to our patients. Our team is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters recovery and enhances the quality of life for those we serve. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant , you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, support patients in their recovery journeys, and help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities. Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate patients and families about treatment goals and strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to enhance patient outcomes. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Experience in an in-house rehabilitation setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
