Job Description

Bright Minds Flourish & Thrive is a growing pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through compassionate, high-quality care. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy services in a supportive and family-centered environment. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join us!
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic OTA to provide direct therapy services to a pediatric population under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children and values a collaborative, team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions. Assist in evaluations by gathering data and observing patient performance. Document daily treatment notes, progress reports, and communicate findings with the supervising OT. Maintain a positive, motivating, and safe environment for clients. Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other team members. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
Qualifications:
Current Florida licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with children preferred (internship experience counts!). Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Passion for working with children and families. What's in It for You Competitive pay up to $ 38 per hour 1099 or W-2 opportunities
Make Your Own Schedule:
Pick 4- or 8-hour blocks, Mon-Fri, no mandatory weekends
Pediatrics:
Sensory-rich gym, ages 18 mo - 21yrs
Caseload Ready Career Growth:
Mentorship from experienced OT, direct input into program design
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, PRN Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
