Job Description:

Materials Purchasing Work with Construction Supervisor to identify project requirements. Work with Field Supervisors to define material procurement requirements and delivery schedule. Purchase a wide range of goods for installation projects or resale. Find the required materials at the best prices. Consider quality, price, reliability, and availability to meet project and client specifications. Coordinate shipping to field sites and freight carrier costs. Coordinate with the corporate office on purchasing and payment issues. Inventory and Control Manage and supervise the purchasing transactions. Determine quantity for inventory and reorder quantities. Oversee materials out for projects and returned after projects. Manage issuance and return of specialty tools. Identify project material requirements prior to construction. Develop and use spreadsheet / software for inventory monitoring and control. Procurement Coordinator Create and track purchase orders Liaison with A/P department for invoices, supplier holds, and cost discrepancies Work independently and with a team to create and document processes and deliverables Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
