Achievers Learning Academy Lutz, FL Compensation:
OTR/L (W-2 full-time): Starting at $40/hour (based on years of experience as a Pediatric OT) COTA (W-2 full-time): $26-30/hour (based on years of experience as a Pediatric COTA) About the Role AchieveAbility Therapy and Achievers Learning Academy are expanding our SPOT Team ( SP eech + OT ) and seeking OTs and COTAs to join our redesigned, child-centered, mission-driven therapy program. OTR/L (Full Time) Provide pediatric OT services in school and clinic settings, focusing on fine motor, gross motor, sensory regulation, ADLs, visual-motor, and executive functioning skills. Complete evaluations, including BOT-2, PDMS-2, Beery VMI, Sensory assessments, and ADL measures, and write clear reports to gain insurance authorization approval Implement evidence-based treatment plans and document sessions within protected documentation blocks. Support sensory regulation strategies, sensory diets, adaptive equipment, and classroom participation needs. Collaborate daily with SLPs, ABA staff, teachers, paras, and leadership to support student regulation and engagement. Prepare materials, maintain clean therapy spaces, and contribute to a positive, compassionate SPOT team culture. Communicate with families and provide home-program support as needed. Maintain board and state licensure, uphold ethical standards, and pursue ongoing professional development Provide supervision to COTAs and graduate students completing fieldwork placements, as needed. 2. COTA (Build to Full Time) Plan and implement OT treatment under OT supervision Support sensory-motor, fine-motor, visual-motor, self-care, and regulation goals. Collect data + assist with progress monitoring measures Prepare sensory/adaptive materials and visuals Collaborate with speech, ABA, and teaching teams Complete daily documentation on time Facilitate group therapy (i.e. handwriting group, gross motor group, etc.) Bring warmth, patience, and consistency to treatment sessions. Caseload Expectation Full time employees are expected to maintain 120 direct service hours per month to maintain protected documentation blocks and all full-time benefits lists above. We maintain a manageable caseload structure of 30-35 direct service hours per week for full-time clinical roles. This allows us to support consistent services, your emotional well-being, clinical quality, collaboration, timely documentation completed at work, and sustainable pacing.
