$28•34 per hour Make a Real Impact Every Day Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our care team on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you'll help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy and hands-on support.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborative Evaluation & Planning:
Partner with the Occupational Therapist to assess residents and create individualized treatment plans.
Support Daily Functioning:
Assist residents in performing daily tasks that promote independence and well-being.
Therapy Assistance:
Guide and monitor residents during therapeutic activities to ensure safety and progress.
Rehabilitation Focus:
Help residents recover and regain function following illness, injury, or surgery.
Confidentiality & Ethics:
Handle all resident information with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
Team Engagement:
Work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current Florida State COTA License•Required Experience in long-term care•
