•We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized therapy services to children across various settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, early intervention programs, and inpatient facilities. Your expertise will help young patients develop essential skills, improve their independence, and enhance their quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Assess children's motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, and sensory integration Assist with discharge planning by coordinating care strategies with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals Support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities through targeted therapy techniques Conduct therapy sessions in various settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, home health environments, or inpatient units Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and case managers to optimize patient outcomes Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, care plans, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in case management activities to ensure comprehensive care delivery across post-acute care, skilled nursing facilities, or hospital settings Qualifications Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist with specialization or experience in pediatrics Proven experience working with children in settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, early intervention programs, or inpatient units Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pediatric development milestones Experience assisting with ADLs and discharge planning for pediatric patients with diverse needs Familiarity working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities Ability to work effectively in acute care environments such as ICU or inpatient units; ICU experience is a plus Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and collaboration skills for integrated patient care Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored for pediatric populations across outpatient, home health, or skilled nursing facilities Excellent case management skills to coordinate services for patients transitioning between different care settings Compassionate approach to patient care with strong communication skills suitable for working with children and families

Pay:

$35.00 - $44.91 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week
