Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse settings, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and well-being, making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and safety. Implement individualized care plans developed by occupational therapists, ensuring treatment goals are met efficiently. Support patient care in various settings including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health visits. Contribute to medical imaging procedures by preparing patients and assisting with equipment as needed. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support accurate assessments and interventions. Document patient progress accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure seamless care delivery. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program. Prior experience in home health, acute care, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or inpatient settings is highly preferred. Strong understanding of geriatrics, pediatrics, and occupational health principles. Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and relevant safety protocols. Familiarity with care planning processes and ability to adapt interventions for diverse patient populations. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals through their recovery journey. Pay:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour
