About us Amity Home Care is a Medicare certified family owned Home Health Agency which provides Skilled services for patients throughout Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Desoto, Hendry, Glades & Sarasota counties. Our skilled services includes Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Home Health Aide, & Medical Social Worker. Responsibilities:
  • Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various conditions
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of the physical therapist
  • Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
  • Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed
Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred
  • Knowledge of occupational health practices and procedures is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
