Our team works collaboratively to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and works effectively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills, strength, coordination, and independence Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Occupational Therapist Instruct patients in therapeutic activities and functional tasks Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Florida COTA license (or eligibility) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
