Job Description

At Malama Maika'i Health and Wellness Alliance, we believe some of the most important care happens in the home. We're seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs/COTAs) who are passionate about helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and maintain their independence where they are most comfortable. Whether you're looking to supplement your current caseload or build a larger patient base over time, we offer the flexibility to work around your availability while providing the support and resources needed to succeed. Pay Occupational Therapist can earn between $70-$75 PRN Occupational Therapist Assistants can earn between $50-$55 PRN Position Type PRN / Per Diem Flexible scheduling based on your availability Opportunities for additional visits and caseload growth Competitive compensation Responsibilities Complete occupational therapy evaluations, reassessments, and discharge visits Assess patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) Develop individualized treatment plans focused on independence and safety Provide training related to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation Evaluate cognitive, visual, perceptual, and upper extremity deficits Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications Provide upper extremity strengthening and functional task training Educate patients and caregivers regarding safety, adaptive techniques, and energy conservation Conduct home safety assessments and fall-prevention interventions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and family members Complete timely and accurate documentation Equipment Provided Company-issued clinician bag Company-issued tablet for documentation, scheduling, and patient care management Requirements Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check Current TB clearance (TB test or chest X-ray, as applicable) Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance Strong communication and clinical assessment skills Home health experience preferred, but not required Why Join Us?
