Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois COTA license (please have documentation ready for submission) Experience working within school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and specialized instructional strategies Skilled in collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to support student outcomes Comfortable delivering services onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30

PM Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT as outlined in each student's educational plan Assist in developing and implementing interventions to improve functional abilities and participation in classroom activities Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with all required reporting Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for students with diverse needs Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and related service providers to optimize student experiences As part of this role, you'll benefit from a consistent weekly schedule (35 hours) and the opportunity to attend new hire orientation prior to the school year (August 12th-14th). The low caseload ensures meaningful interaction with each student and professional support throughout the contract.
