Description:
Accommodate, Rehab & Collaborate, LLC is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Meadowbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation in LaGrange, IL. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Providing treatment based off the evaluations/plans of care created by the supervising therapist. Appropriately and effectively completing documentation. Screening residents and individuals who may benefit from therapy. Communicating patient status and needs to the patients, family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient care. Collaborating and updating the supervising therapist regarding the progress of the patients. Expanding and enhancing self, in both clinical and professional knowledge through associations and continuing education. Providing in-service training sessions or other educational presentations to members of the interdisciplinary team as needed. Supporting and participating in department operations/meetings.
Requirements:
Requirements are as follows: Licensed in the state of Illinois as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Ability to communicate well with patients, families, supervisors, and colleagues.
