Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Murray, KY 42071 Part-time, Full-time Spring Creek Rehab 3 reviews Part-time, Full-time Bi-WEEKLY PAY! Daily Pay $2,000 Sign on Bonus! The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, directing, and administering the Occupational Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities Help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred Familiarity with acute care settings is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent organizational and time management skills Please note that this job description provides a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
