Responsibilities:

Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and abilities Design and implement treatment programs to improve patient function and independence Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and use of adaptive equipment Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and patient safety in all aspects of job performance Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Requirements:

Currently certified or eligible to become certified as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an approved occupational therapy assistant program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Demonstrated knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
