Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Occupational Therapist/COTA/PRN, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives! In this role, you will provide expert occupational therapy services across the lifespan. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care plans and targeted interventions. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics, utilizing your extensive knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care. Duties Assess patients' functional abilities and develop tailored treatment plans to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans that address patient needs from pediatrics through geriatrics. Assist patients with mobility, coordination, and strength exercises based on their individual goals and medical conditions Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques, adaptive equipment use, and strategies to promote independence at home or in outpatient settings Document patient progress accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical imaging reports, physiology changes, and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices Qualifications Valid license as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the applicable state or region Proven experience working with the lifespan Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology principles related to occupational therapy interventions Familiarity with care planning processes and documentation standards for patient records Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while demonstrating excellent patient care skills Knowledge of medical imaging reports and medical terminology relevant to diverse clinical scenarios Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients or caregivers Join us in delivering compassionate, innovative occupational therapy services that empower patients to achieve their best possible outcomes!
