Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming academic year. This float position will be integral in delivering therapy services across multiple school sites with Pre-K through 12th grade learners. While the exact caseload is still being determined, the position offers valuable variety and the chance to make a significant impact across several educational settings.
Key Details:
Contract will run from September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027 Approximately 29 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 30 hours Work with a wide range of students, from preschoolers to high school seniors Serve at multiple sites throughout the week, gaining exposure to different grade levels and school cultures
Qualifications & Preferred Background:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active COTA credential and eligibility for state licensure School-based experience preferred, but not required Exceptional communication skills and adaptability to flex across diverse environments Collaborative, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assist in assessing students' needs and help develop individualized treatment plans Adapt interventions to best support educational participation and success Maintain timely and thorough documentation as required Work in partnership with school staff, students, and families
