Job Summary MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, part time Assistant Professor to join our Department of Occupational Therapy. This position offers the right candidate excellent opportunities to collaborate with clinical partners and interprofessional colleagues in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and the School of Nursing. Responsibilities include teaching in our top-ranked US News World Report Entry - Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, scholarship, supervising student research, and advising graduate students. Faculty also provide service to the department, Institute, and community. The ideal faculty member is a generalist in occupational therapy practice and education with expectation of a line of scholarship inquiry and doctoral capstone mentorship. This position may also include supervision of OT services in our student-led pro bono center to support our clinical education placements. Qualifications Clinical and didactic teaching experience of three - five years. Candidates must possess an earned post professional doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD preferred) and have clinical expertise as a generalist in occupational therapy practice and education. Current occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts is required. Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Additional Job Details (if applicable) The IHP is committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation that reflects each faculty member's experience, expertise, responsibilities, and performance. The expected base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $113,000, based on faculty rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor), qualifications, and discipline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors such as academic and clinical experience, teaching responsibilities, education, licensure, specialty, training, market, and internal equity. This range represents base salary only and does not include benefits or other elements of total compensation; details about the full compensation and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process.
