Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a flexible, school-based contract position. You'll have the chance to work across multiple sites, serving as a floater and gaining experience with a diverse range of ages and needs. While caseload details are still being finalized, your work will be valued and essential in helping students succeed throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required Prior experience in K-12 school settings strongly preferred Adaptable, organized, and comfortable working across multiple sites and age groups Effective communicator who collaborates well with OTs, educators, and families Reliable, compassionate, and student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services under OT supervision to students in Pre-K through 12th grade Collaborate on IEP goals, adapt activities, and document student progress Float between three school sites, supporting students at multiple locations as needed Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment that helps students reach their full potential Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with all state, federal, and district guidelines
Position Details:
Contract position beginning September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027 Approximately 29 hours per week (potential to increase to 30 hours) Schedule includes time at three engaging school sites in the area This is a rewarding opportunity for COTAs who thrive in dynamic settings and who are eager to make a lasting impact.
