Job Description Job Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA Full-Time Autumn Lake Healthcare at Silver Spring Managed by Ultimate Therapy Join a supportive, therapist-led rehab team in a respected skilled nursing facility where COTAs are truly valued, well-supported, and empowered to help residents regain independence and enjoy meaningful daily activities. Your Role Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide hands-on treatment to improve ADL function, fine motor skills, upper extremity strength/coordination, cognition, and functional independence Train residents and families in adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, and energy conservation techniques Motivate and encourage residents during therapy sessions Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate closely with the OT, nursing, and interdisciplinary team Why COTAs Stay & Thrive Here Strong clinical support from therapist Regional Directors who regularly visit the buildings Excellent mentorship and guidance available
