Job Description

Functional Kids Therapy Center is a growing, collaborative pediatric therapy practice dedicated to supporting children and families through individualized, play-based care. Our team provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and counseling services in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are committed to delivering strong clinical care within a positive and engaging clinic culture, while supporting the ongoing growth and development of our therapists. We also prioritize work-life balance, ensuring our team feels supported both professionally and personally. This role may be structured as either a part-time or full-time position, based on candidate preference and role alignment. Position Overview We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist/COTA to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis . This role is ideal for a therapist who is passionate about working with children and families and is looking for a multi-disciplinary/supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Address areas such as: Sensory processing, Motor planning and coordination, Fine motor skills, Self-regulation, ADLs (activities of daily living) Complete timely and accurate documentation Collaborate with families and caregivers to support carryover at home Communicate effectively with team members and referral sources Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan (or eligible) NBCOT Certified Experience in pediatrics preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team Passion for working with children and families What We Offer Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunities for mentorship and growth Compensation for cancellations/no-shows (aligned with clinic structure) Access to a variety of treatment tools and sensory-based equipment Private treatment space, necessary equipment, and laptop Ideal Fit This position is a great fit for someone who: Enjoys a play-based, child-led therapy approach Wants to be part of a positive and collaborative culture Values both clinical quality and work-life balance Is looking to grow within a developing and expanding practice Please send resumes to cortney@functionalkidstherapyllc.com
