Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with a focus on DOR (Director of Rehab Services) We have multiple locations serving Hampton Manor ALF in house therapy service. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with licensed occupational therapists to deliver exceptional patient care across diverse settings. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' recovery journeys while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Duties Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans for patients across inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, and home health settings. Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility exercises. Provide therapeutic interventions for various populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals in acute care or outpatient clinics. Help monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate updates to treatment records and communication with supervising therapists. Educate patients and their families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety measures to promote independence at home and in the community. Assist with medical imaging procedures when necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety during diagnostic processes. Maintain a clean, safe environment adhering to all health and safety regulations while supporting overall patient care activities. Experience Prior experience working in inpatient hospital units, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles relevant to therapy practices. Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting care plans tailored to diverse patient needs across different age groups. Skilled in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care. Familiarity with medical imaging procedures and the ability to adapt therapy techniques accordingly is a plus. Strong understanding of geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care protocols, and outpatient therapy practices enhances your effectiveness in this role. Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour
