Job Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant Subacute Rehab PRN Corewell Health United States, Michigan, Grand Rapids Apr 29, 2026 Scope of Work Under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides occupational therapy services to patients/clients to assist in improving basic motor functions, reasoning abilities, compensating for permanent loss of function by teaching patients/clients to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments.

May provide treatment to patients/clients with cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction and physical disability.

Assists with patient/clients and caregiver education. Standard Qualifications Required Associate's Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university occupational therapy assistant program. Familiar with industrial rehab and ergonomics preferred. Preferred CRT-Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified (COTA)
  • NB-COT National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certified or eligible Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • AHA American Heart Association preferred Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • ARC American Red Cross preferred License Driver's License
