Responsibilities Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment sessions to assist students in achieving their functional and academic goals Collaborate with teachers and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support and enhance a student's motor development, sensory integration, and functional abilities within the school setting Collaborate with teachers and other members of the multidisciplinary team to adapt and modify the classroom environment and/or classroom activities to promote a student's participation and independence Assist Occupational Therapist with assessments and screening to identify a student's strengths and weaknesses Collects and maintains data for progress monitoring Assist in the preparation of IEPs and participate in the IEP meetings, providing clarity and insight into reports/data Requirements Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility to practice as an
