Job Description
Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students across elementary to high school levels as a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This contract position begins in August and continues through December, with the potential to extend into the spring semester. Make an impact as you collaborate with education professionals and empower young learners in a welcoming school environment near Livonia, MI. As a vital member of the team, you will: Support occupational therapy services for K-12 students, focusing on both academic and functional skills. Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Help students develop, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily school participation. Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress and well-being. Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the IEP process as needed. Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
