Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center responds to the rights, needs, and concerns of its residents, families, and staff by creating a caring environment in which each person is respected for their individuality and treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our residents!
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice under the direction of the Occupational therapist. Conduct screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment as allowed by state practice act, company policy, and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Assist the Occupational therapist in the evaluation of residents as directed. Assist the Occupational Therapist with the development of treatment plans as directed. Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with the Occupational therapist and other team members. Conduct treatment according to the established treatment plan. Monitor resident's response to intervention and discuss adaption of treatment. Participate in discharge planning.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure as Occupational therapy Assistant in practicing states(s) Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
