Job Description

Position Summary:
Park River Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. The COTA will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans designed to help residents regain independence in activities of daily living and improve overall functional ability.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist. Assist residents in improving daily living skills, mobility, coordination, and strength. Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team. Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Occupational Therapist. Maintain accurate and timely treatment records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care. Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing. Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Compassionate approach to patient care.
Pay:
$33.00 - $35.00 per hour
