Job Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Looking for your next contract opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)? This full-time role is an excellent chance to work closely with a collaborative team on a military base, supporting middle and high school students (grades 6-12) with mild to moderate needs. You'll split your time between three welcoming sites near Waynesville, MO, enjoying both variety and the camaraderie of a dedicated and supportive staff.
Key Skills and Experience:
Current certification and state license as a COTA Experience in school-based occupational therapy, especially with students aged 11-18 Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Comfortable managing a caseload across multiple campus environments Strong communication and documentation skills Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering occupational therapy services as directed by OTRs and according to student IEPs Supporting students' functional skills for school participation and success Maintaining accurate, timely records and documentation Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress Traveling between three sites (all conveniently located on a military base) Assisting with evaluations and implementing therapeutic interventions as needed
