Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Put your passion for supporting student growth to work in a dynamic school environment as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Contribute your expertise to help children thrive academically and socially, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a welcoming and encouraging setting. This contract opportunity near Aberdeen, MS, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with flexible, rewarding work.
What we seek:
Active COTA licensure, with eligibility for practice in the state School-based experience or a strong desire to work with students in K-12 environments Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families A collaborative spirit and commitment to helping students reach their full potential Prior experience in healthcare or pediatric rehabilitation is a plus Your contributions will include: Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans Supporting students' fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development for classroom success Maintaining accurate therapy records and progress notes Participating in team meetings to coordinate student care Engaging with staff to promote therapeutic strategies within daily classroom activities As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy the benefits of a contract role that offers valuable professional experience, the opportunity to impact young lives, and a supportive, collaborative workplace.
