JOB SUMMARY
The Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA position is to provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. It is responsible for collaborating with the supervising therapist regarding the patient's plan of care, patient performance, response to treatment, and any other pertinent information. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Collaborate with other health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and safe implementation of all therapy. Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do. Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff. Provide clinical documentation Create positive resident outcomes. Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated. Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times. REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent and an associate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited OTA program. Must have and maintain a current license in the state of operation as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA.
