Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) specializing in pediatrics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for supporting children's developmental needs and have experience working in various clinical settings. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant Pediatrics, you will collaborate closely with licensed occupational therapists to implement therapy plans, assist with patient care, and promote functional independence among pediatric patients across outpatient, daycare, and home environments. Duties Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to pediatric patients' needs. Support children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, dressing, and grooming, to foster independence. Provide direct patient care during therapy sessions in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and home health visits. Help monitor patient progress by documenting responses to interventions and communicating observations to supervising therapists. Facilitate therapy activities that promote motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive development aligned with physiology and anatomy knowledge. Assist with medical imaging procedures or other diagnostic assessments as directed within the scope of practice. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment adhering to health and safety protocols. Requirements Certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program is required. Prior experience working with pediatric populations in settings such as outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health is highly desirable. Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing care plans for children with diverse developmental challenges. Strong patient care skills combined with excellent communication abilities to engage children and their families effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team committed to high-quality pediatric care. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.
