Job Description

Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) / Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Sandia Sunrise Therapy - Albuquerque, NM Sandia Sunrise Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing outpatient therapy team. About Our Clinic Sandia Sunrise Therapy is a pediatric outpatient clinic providing occupational, speech, and physical therapy services in a family-centered setting. Responsibilities (Role-Dependent) Occupational Therapist (OT): Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based therapy to children ages 0-21 Create home programs and collaborate with families Complete documentation, progress reports, and re-evaluations Supervise OTAs, students, or volunteers as appropriate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA): Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT Provide hands-on therapy to support patient goals Educate families on home programs and carryover Document treatment sessions clearly and accurately Collaborate with the supervising OT and therapy team Qualifications For Occupational Therapists (OT): Licensed (or license-eligible) Occupational Therapist in New Mexico Degree in Occupational Therapy Pediatric experience preferred (new grads welcome) For Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA): Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Mexico Associate degree from an accredited OTA program Pediatric experience preferred
