Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) per diem Iroquois Skilled Nursing Community Jamesville, NY Job Details Per diem $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Behavioral observation Direct patient care Safety protocol adherence Implementing occupational therapy programs Care documentation Clinical case management notes Evidence-based practice Evidence-based interventions in treatment planning Patient progress monitoring Patient treatment Entry level Therapy progress note documentation Full Job Description Available Weekdays and/or Weekends. Works under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Performs patient related activities as are assigned by the supervising occupational therapist. Documents observations of patient's behavior and progress in the daily notes, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge notes. Completes and maintains timely documentation. Maintains statistical records and other departmental reports as requested by occupational therapist. Meets with the supervising occupational therapist regularly to review the implementation of treatment plans and to foster professional development. Provides quality, personalized and evidence-based care, and proven interventions. Performs all position duties according to safety rules and practices required for this position, and as required to ensure the general safety of staff, residents and visitors of this facility. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor, management staff or Administrator
