Contract Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Valley Cottage, NY | Clinic-Based Pediatric OT Giant Leaps Occupational Therapy is seeking a passionate, play-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our supportive pediatric clinic team! We are looking for a warm, energetic, and collaborative clinician who enjoys helping children build confidence, regulation, independence, and functional skills through engaging, child-centered therapy. Schedule 1-3 weekday afternoons/evenings (after school hours) Possible Sunday hours Flexible contract position Responsibilities Implement individualized, play-based OT treatment sessions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Support development in sensory processing, fine motor, motor planning, emotional regulation, executive functioning, ADLs, and visual motor skills Collaborate with families and caregivers to support meaningful progress Complete session documentation in a timely manner Communicate effectively with supervising therapists and team members Qualifications Current
NYS COTA
License Pediatric experience preferred Experience with sensory integration/play-based therapy strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Positive, compassionate, and child-centered approach Why Join Giant Leaps?
