Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Sky Blue Healthcare LLC in Cushing, OK. Role:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant , you will work closely with occupational therapists to design and implement customized therapy plans for patients with varying needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients regain independence, adapt to new environments, and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing therapy plans for patients with diverse needs Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patient strengths and weaknesses Design and implement therapeutic activities to improve cognitive, motor, and sensory skills Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and care Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
