Job Summary:
School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Full-Time | Grants Pass, OR About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a school setting in Grants Pass, Oregon . In this role, you'll help students develop the skills they need to succeed both in the classroom and in daily activities. You'll work as part of a collaborative team to create and deliver individualized therapy plans that make a lasting impact. What You'll Do Conduct student evaluations to assess functional and developmental needs Develop individualized therapy plans based on each student's goals Provide direct occupational therapy services in a school-based setting Document therapy services and student progress in accordance with professional standards Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success Support participation in school activities by improving students' independence and skills Position Details Full-time, 38 hours per week 39-week contract aligned with the academic school year Serving a K-12 student population Opportunity to work across a variety of school settings within the district Support from an onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Compensation $65 per hour + weekly pay What We're Looking For Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice At least one year of experience preferred Experience in pediatrics or school settings is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseload and maintain clear documentation Additional Requirements Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening and health clearance as required Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Must be at least 18 years of age Why This Role Matters This is your opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives-helping them build independence, confidence, and the skills they need to thrive both academically and beyond.
