Job Description

Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse healthcare settings. Working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you'll implement treatment plans, lead therapeutic activities, document progress, and help patients improve functional independence in daily living, work, and leisure. You'll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and support safe discharges while benefiting from strong recruiter support, nationwide opportunities, and professional growth with a clinician-first staffing leader. Responsibilities Implement OT treatment plans under supervision of an Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic activities to improve functional independence and safety Assist with patient evaluations by gathering data and observing performance Document treatments, patient progress, and response to interventions accurately and timely Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and safety Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on care planning and discharge needs Maintain compliance with state licensure, facility policies, and payer regulations Set up and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies Participate in quality improvement and outcome tracking initiatives Travel or float to multiple facilities as assigned by Jackson Therapy Partners Required Skills Occupational therapy treatment implementation Therapeutic exercise and activities ADL and IADL retraining Functional mobility and transfer training Use and training of adaptive equipment and assistive devices Therapy documentation and EMR proficiency Patient and family education Interdisciplinary care collaboration Knowledge of rehab and payer regulations Safety, positioning, and body mechanics
